Services

Safer Driving School is more than just a driving school.

  • We make it convenient for you by picking your student up and dropping them back off at work, school or home.
  • We can also take your student to the Dept of Public Safety testing center for them to take their driving exam for an additional charge.

 

Instructions for taking the written test to obtain a learner's permit at the Department of Public Safety office:

students MUST have the following:

        • be 15 1/2 years of age or older
        • original birth certificate (see pg 1-1 & 1-2 of Oklahoma's Driver's Manual) 
        • original social security card (see page 1-2 of Oklahoma Driver’s Manual)
        • proof of official 8th grade Reading Proficiency, enrollment, and attendance letter. (Can be obtained from your public school counselor.)
        • parent or legal guardian must be present to sign the "Authorization to Obtain Finger Image" form (if 17 yrs of age or younger)
        • copy of the Safer Driving School contract for proof of enrollment in driver's education
        • (If taken in summer months, parent must be present to sign summer affidavit or official school letter must have the upcoming school term year.)

 

Instructions for having Safer Driving School take your student to get their driver's license at the Dept of Public Safety office:

student MUST meet the following requirements:

        • attend 10 hours of classroom training
        • complete 6 hours of behind the wheel driver training
        • Safer Driving School course completion certificate
        • be 16 years of age or older
        • have all Safer Driving School fees paid in full
        • have had learner's permit for 6 months

All programs are State licensed and instructors are State certified.
We provide you with a certificate
upon completion.

Insurance premium reductions may apply.  Check with your insurance agent to be sure.
